Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines crossroads as “the place of intersection of two or more roads” or “a crucial point especially where a decision must be made”.
This is how I describe my life so far as a crossroad with many things intersecting along the way. It has been an amazing journey and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me in the future. Let me catch you up by giving a mini resume or a quick snapshot.
I grew up in a small town in Upstate NY, moved to Connecticut then to Albany. I have delivered newspapers, worked odd jobs as a teen, was an associate and manager in the restaurant industry, joined the U.S. Air Force and came home during basic training with an injury (I don’t talk much about this part of my life as I was really disappointed), was a manager (human resources, operations and branch) for a security guard company and am presently working in this industry again as an administrative assistant, worked in the office of a homeimprovement store, worked in a bank processing center, was a photographer and manager of a studio, became a freelance photographer, taught Sunday School, was on a school board for five years with three of those as chairperson, am currently a middle school youth group team leader, and most important a mom and wife. Whew. That was exhausting. I don’t think I left anything out.
In my spare time, I love to research my family tree and study the bible. I have been researching for over twenty years and I took a long break from it. I also pick up my camera every now and then to take photos of my son, pets, and nature/landscapes.
This website consists of two blogs – genealogy and faith. More information can be found by clicking and exploring these blogs. I also have a link to my nature and landscape portfolio.
